Ponchatoula Homemove
Ernie is a life-long resident of Ponchatoula. He graduated from LSU in 2004 and Loyola Law School in 2008. He has been at Drake and Beckler LLC since 2008 handling a variety of legal matters in the areas of real estate, business transactions, personal injury, family law, adoptions, and criminal defense. He is active in the City government serving as both the attorney for the City of Ponchatoula as well as the magistrate for the mayor’s court. He is also active in the community as a board member for the Ponchatoula Chamber of Commerce and the South Tangipahoa Parish Port Commission. He has served on the Strawberry Festival Board and been a member of Ponchatoula Rotary Club.

Theresa “Tessie” Beckler
Tessie joined the office in 1981 after graduating from Loyola Law School. She focuses her practice in the areas of personal injury, real estate, successions and family/adoption law. She has handled real estate matters for some of the same clients for over 30 years in the New Orleans area. She also worked for 23 years for the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services. During that time she became an authority on the Louisiana Children’s Code and Procedure. Her knowledge and experience are integral to our Family/Adoption law practice areas.
