Will Preparation
Making a Will allows you to choose
who you would like to take care of your estate (the executor), who you would like to give your assets to when you pass (the beneficiaries), and allows parents to appoint someone to care for any minor children (the guardian(s)).

I work closely with you to give you the confidence to know your Will and Estate planning is carefully prepared and properly executed, and your family and assets will be taken care of and distributed according to your wishes.

Powers of Attorney
A Power of Attorney (POA) is a legal document whereby an adult appoints one or more people to look after his/her legal and financial affairs.

Why should you consider appointing someone as your Attorney?

  • As a precaution in the event that you experience an illness (i.e. stroke, Alzheimer’s disease) or  accident that and prevents you from acting on your own behalf. Once an individual has become incapacitated he/she can no longer appoint an Attorney.
  • If you may be out of town when a legal or financial transaction takes place.

Representation Agreements/
Health Care Directives

Representation Agreements are documents that allow adults to appoint representatives to make their health and personal care decisions in the event that they are not able to. If you become incapacitated, your representative is the person(s) who you have authorized to make health care decisions and choose the appropriate place for you to live on your behalf.

The Representation Agreement only comes into effect if the individual who has made the Agreement becomes incapacitated.
