For many people your home represents the single biggest investment you will make and should be adequately protected against loss. We work with you to obtain comprehensive details of your home, outbuildings and personal property and utilize industry accepted valuation programs to establish your insurance requirements. We then match your needs with the product offerings of our various insurance company partners to obtain the coverage you need at a competitive price.

When you rent your house or apartment the landlord will insure the dwelling or apartment building. However, your belongings (ie. furniture, clothing, other contents, lawn and gardening equipment, patio furniture, etc.) and liability exposure are not covered by the landlord’s policy. We can tailor a policy for that purpose which can include coverage in an amount sufficient to replace all of your belongings damaged or destroyed.

When you own a condominium, you have special insurance needs. Your condominium corporation may have an insurance policy to cover the property and common areas that are collectively owned by the unit owners, as well as the condominium structure itself. However, its policy doesn’t cover your belongings, improvements you make to your unit or your personal liabilities. A condominium unit owner’s policy can protect your most valued possessions, provide coverage should your condominium unit become damaged or unlivable and protect you in the event you are found legally responsible for bodily injury to someone else or for damage to their property.

Items such as seasonal properties, jewellery, boats and motors, ATV’s, furs, fine art and other specialty items can also be added to your residential policy.

Many of our insurance company partners offer discounts that can make a significant difference in the cost of your insurance. These include discounts based on your age (as early as 45), the age of your home, alarm systems, claims free status and mortgage free status. Our quotes factor in all eligible discounts.
