Kevin Henry is a native of upstate New York. He joined the Marine Corps in 1999 and was stationed at Cherry Point, NC where he was an AV-8B Harrier Avionics technician. He served five years in active duty, another three in reserve status, and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. In 2004, Kevin was hired on as a civilian employee of the Dept. of Army at the oldest continuously operating manufacturing Arsenal in the U.S. He completed a four year Machinist apprenticeship while concurrently earning an Associate’s degree in Manufacturing Technology. During his ten year career as a Journeyman Machinist, Kevin worked on several prototype weapon systems, including components of the M1A1 Abrams Tank and M777 Howitzer. He also took pride in training numerous other machinists. Kevin met Meaghan in 2005 and the two became husband and wife in 2006. Meaghan, is also originally from upstate New York. Meaghan has an Associate’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Enterprise Management. She has also completed Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training through Villanova University. Meaghan has a background in Real Estate, Construction and Property Management. She served a five-year tenure on the Zoning Board of Appeals in their hometown. Most recently, Meaghan worked for a non-profit in Albany, NY that provides services to homeless Veterans. She enjoys volunteering in the community and serving those in need. Kevin and Meaghan have two sons and two dogs (German Shorthaired Pointers). They relocated to Raleigh in the summer of 2015 seeking warmer weather and a more family friendly community to raise their family. As a part of the JDog family, they are proud to serve the greater Raleigh area homes and businesses. |
