Ted Beaubier has been a lawyer for 43 years. Born in Montreal but raised in the Chemainus/Ladysmith area, Ted moved to Vancouver after graduating high school where he received his law degree from The University of British Columbia in 1971. He then moved back to Vancouver Island, settling in Nanaimo and, after two years in private practice, worked for Crown Counsel until 1981. For the following 15 years he concentrated on drug prosecution, in addition to his private practice. Since 1996 he has focused exclusively on his private practice.
In his private life Ted has a passion for two unconventional hobbies: sailing and beekeeping. Professionally, Ted continues to enjoy the variety and unique experiences that come with practicing law and is proud to serve the legal needs of those in Nanaimo
