Ridgeland Specialty Hardware (RSH) has been owned by Jodie and Jeni Adams since 2011. Jodie’s brother started the company in 1985 by selling “door viewers” (peepholes) out of a station wagon and was called The Private Eye. By listening to the needs of his customers and increasing his inventory to include deadbolts and drawer guides, builders and carpenters became the main target audience.

Now, RSH boast of over 5,000 inventory items with a fabulous showroom to display the top selling items. With 10 employees that have over a combined 100 years experience in the hardware industry and 3 delivery vans, RSH is able to guide a customer, one-on-one, through the entire selection process for decorating their home with many unique specialty hardware items. RSH offers brands that reflect value, quality, selection and customer satisfaction for their homes and businesses.

Jodie, Jeni, and the staff believe that listening to what the customer wants and needs is a vital part of the success of the business today just as it was in the beginning.
