Donald W. Currier, Michigan home inspection professional, is a state Licensed Contractor with experience in home construction. He has been involved in residential building, renovations, along with ongoing rental maintenance for more than 17 years.

Don was a safety and material inspector for a local Jackson business. He has over 20 years of experience in an environment where inspecting details are mandory for success.

How It Works

The majority of all inspections are general interior & exterior inspections which cover all the items listed below. The home inspection includes The Building Analysis Report — described below. The home inspection process for your Michigan residence will take 1 to 3 hours, depending on the questions asked. You are encouraged to be present during the inspection. It's a wonderful learning experience and you will discover things about the house. I will look into holes, cavities and crevices like never before. It's an opportune time for discussion and answering your questions. We talk about procedures and you will find the "detective work" very interesting.

The Michigan Home Inspection Report

At the end of the home inspection, you'll receive your Building Analysis Report. My report is comprehensive, organized and easy to read. It will indicate limitations and deficiencies, as well as areas found to be serviceable. You can use it as you own personal reminder of items that may need your attention in the future, or as a maintenance reminder.

This report is tailored to your needs. It will be handed to you at the end of the inspection. The report is YOURS! You paid for it. No one receives it without your permission. I will retain a copy for my records, so if you have any questions in the future, they can be answered accurately.

No Conflict of Interest

By that, I mean that if I inspect your home I should not benefit by potentially repairing or remodeling your future home. I will however make some recommendations and referrals.

My main area of expertise is Residential Building inspections

Finally, I do not believe in getting involved in areas where I'm not totally qualified. Nor do I offer services just to increase my fee.
