Northern Fireplace will help make your home cozy and warm. Gas burning fireplaces are very popular but we also carries a full line of high efficiency wood burning fireplaces as well as freestanding stoves. They are self contained units that burn gas or wood to supply extra heat to an entire home or to a specific part of a home.
Northern Fireplace started in 1995 with locations in Regina and Saskatoon. Four years later, we opened in Edmonton to take advantage of doing business in a larger market. Serving homeowners represents about 50 per cent of our business. Customers making up the other half include homebuilders, construction companies and dealers selling hearth products. We employ a total of 15 people.
Steve Flett, owner of Northern Fireplace is the exclusive Saskatchewan dealer for Heat-N-Glo energy efficient and clean burning direct-vent gas fireplaces. Northern Fireplace carries other major brands and handles a full selection of inserts to suit your needs. Outdoor products available at Northern Fireplace include outdoor fireplaces, patio campfires, patio heaters, fire pits and gourmet patio barbecues.
For Steve Flett, it means supplying, installing and servicing quality, energy efficient fireplaces and other hearth products in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
We have also introduced "Heat-Zone", where ducting is added to the fireplace so heat can be channeled to a specific room for additional heat. In the same vein, Heat-n-Glo has also created "Heat-Duct" where the fireplace is ducted into the furnace to subsidize a home's heating.
Flett has over 21 years experience in the hearth industry. He is a member of the RRHBA (Regina & Region Home Builders Association), is WETT certified (Wood Energy and Technical Training certification of Canada), and is also a member of HPBA (Hearth Products and BBQ Association). In addition, Northern Fireplace is a member of the SaskEnergy natural gas network.
Northern Fireplace does everything related to fireplaces and their installation from sales and service to framing, dry-walling and custom cabinetry. At our 1400 square foot showroom in Regina, at least 35 different fireplace units can be seen.
