History
In 1999, the objective of BSI Insurance Brokers LTD was to amalgamate the best insurance brokers in rural Manitoba. In 10 years, the objective has been completed and the company now has 15 brokers in key areas around southern MB.

The company, formerly known as Barnabe and Saurette Insurance, began in the early 1960's as Aime Barnabe started the brokerage, while Paul Saurette joined within a couple of years. In 1979, Richard Barnabe joined to replace the retiring Aime Barnabe. The company then took on the process of purchasing brokers in neighbouring communities. In 1999, Boundary Trails Insurance amalgamated with Barnabe and Saurette to create BSI Insurance Brokers LTD.
