In 1968, after many years of being a foreman in a mobile home manufacturing plant, Wesley P. Wiebe, together with his wife, Anne, decided to venture off into custom built homes. Wes, with his building experience and Anne, who was exceptionally brilliant in accounting, made a terrific team. Wes was extremely persistant that things had to be done right, or not at all. This philosophy led to many satisfied home owners. In 1981, their oldest son, Howard, started to work in the business and, together, they continued in providing quality workmanship and top-of-the-line building products. In 1984, Wes and Anne had the opportunity to purchase their first seamless eavetrough machine and had seen the advantages of going seamless. Then, in 1986, while searching for another eavestrough machine, they came across ABC Seamless. There, they were introduced to a new concept in siding: the Seamless Steel Siding Machine. The state-of-the-art manufacturing process produces nail slots to insure a snug, secure installation that lasts permanently. Not hangers nor clips are used. Realizing the need for a superior quality of siding in southern Manitoba, they became the first franchised dealer in Canada. Since then they have completed thousands of projects in southern Manitoba, from new homes to 100-year old restorations, commercial buildings, churches and apartment blocks. With a few new faces aboard, Superior Seamless Exteriors continues to provide quality workmanship and top-of-the-line building products. |
