Founded in 1955, Jim and Lorraine Landon opened the doors of Landon Lumber Company in a barn in Guilford, CT. The newly established business quickly outgrew its space and was moved to Garnet Park Road in Madison, CT in 1962, where the business continued to expand for the next 15 years.

In 1977, the business was moved to its current location on Route 1/134 Boston Post Road, Madison, CT; where the business continues to thrive and grow. With an ever expanding product line and growing customer base, Landon Lumber expanded their store in 1996, with a dedication to honor one of its founders, Lorraine Landon.
